WORK AND PRE-PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Pedro Reyes Studio, Mexico City Studio Production and Sculpture Assistant, 2024, Assisted the renowned artist Pedro Reyes with production for his solo show in the Anahuacalli museum for the new mural for the new US embassy in Mexico City. Also Contributed by designing new paintings for his upcoming show at Lisson Gallery and mocking sculptures for clients.

- Collaborated closely with renowned artist Pedro Reyes on artistic direction and the logistical execution of final artworks.


Kurimanzutto Gallery, New York Assisted in the daily operations of the gallery, including organizing exhibitions, managing art collections, providing support to visitors, and collaborating with the curatorial team to ensure smooth and efficient gallery functioning.

Educational Center Guggenheim Museum Collaborated with the Educational Center of the Guggenheim Museum to curate and organize the 'Late Night Shift' exhibition on March 21, 2024, exploring the principles of kites and aerodynamics within the unique space of the Museum.

Collaboration with the Guggenheim Educational Center September 2023 - March 2024

- Developed strong negotiation and communication skills through collaboration with major institutions like the Guggenheim Museum, reaching agreements on exhibition details.

- Gained experience in organizing and executing a one-day exhibition, managing both the setup and teardown processes efficiently.

- Worked closely with the Guggenheim Museum on curating and coordinating the exhibition, gaining insight into how a large institution operates.

ODE to Cecilia, Torn Page Curated a poetry event for Cecilia Vicuña at Torn Page, New York, where she performed a selection of poems from her book Palabramas.

- Developed marketing strategies to promote the event, increasing visibility and audience engagement.

Casa Gabriel Garcia Marquez Curated a poetry and art exhibition at Gabriel García Márquez’ s home in Mexico City in 2024, featuring two painters and two poets.

Founder of Muda Gallery I founded and organized Muda Gallery, a student-run gallery at Parsons, providing a platform for students to showcase their artwork, including paintings, performances, live music, fashion, and sculpture, on the 5th floor of the Parsons building.

2023 - Present

- Established and managed a student-run gallery, curating and organizing exhibitions that showcased various art forms.

- Coordinated with artists, overseeing the logistics of their artwork, space setup, and exhibition details.

- Developed skills in event planning, space organization, and building relationships within the art community.

- Led efforts in marketing and promoting the gallery to increase student participation and audience engagement.


VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

Construyendo: building houses for scarce resources people for 2 weeks, 5 days per week, 5 hours a day. 2019

Teletón Foundation Helped children with Down syndrome for 2 months, 4 days a week, for 3 hours.
